Patients' Rights

To be treated with courtesy, dignity, patience, empathy and compassion. 

To receive care without discrimination on the grounds of sex, age, race, ethnic origin, culture, spiritual or religious beliefs and lifestyle.

To receive all relevant information about your health, proposed treatment, risk and advantages of alternatives and possible effects of no treatment.

To know the name and position of your health care provider.

To seek a second opinion.

To be fully involved in decisions regarding your health.

To refuse treatment.

To privacy and confidentiality.

You shall only be included in medical research with informed consent.

You have the right to refuse participation and withdraw consent at any time.
